Recently the media has reported about an investigation from North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, on the use of anitibiotics in poultry production. Our latest research results have been summarized in an technical article.
The molecular biological research which we funded is all the more remarkable because, to the best of our knowledge, there has been as yet no such work performed with a feed additive on this scale worldwide. The results indicate that the path in using complex phytogenic feed additives provide a successfully active contribution towards intestinal health and indicates reconsideration of the antibiotic effects of essential oils. It is simply a misconception that "natural" antibiotics (such as oregano and thymol) behave differently as their chemical counter parts in relation to the formation of resistance!
Our products contain essential oils, but they are not selected with regard to their antibiotic properties. In the recommended dosage inhibitor tests have long proven that no antibiotic action exists.
