For more than 10 years, we have been researching and developing digestarom®. During this time we conducted more than 150 trials around the world. Beneath these important findings, such as the verification of stimulation in the immune system, at the University of Milan, Italy, and on E-coli infected piglets. Today, digestarom is one of the most successful alternatives to conventional growth promoters in animal nutrition. At this point, it is of special interest that digestarom can be combined with all other feed additives.

What is behind digestarom®?

First of all, digestarom is a flavor. A new flavor combination with natural spices we call a digestibility enhancer. Natural digestibility enhancers promote the inner secretion and stimulate, for example, bile and the body's own enzyme production. Therefore, the digestion of the foodstuff becomes optimized and the production of harmful metabolite substances are reduced. There are spices which have a positive effect on a cold like anis, ginger, chilies, pepper, sage, mustard or thyme. Other spices are helpful for stomach problems and digestion problems. We use, in digestarom, only such spices and the essential oils of these herbs are not defined as pharmaceutical drugs.

Quality standard - our TTC-concept (Total Customer Care)

When producing digestarom, we use only raw material that is of a high standard such as those described in the pharmacopoeias (DAB, USP). We developed methods to verify the quality and the quantity of digestarom in the feedstuff and we take care that digestarom is not contaminated with herbicides, insecticides, fungicides or other pollutants. This shows, that for our TTC-concept, it is not enough to have a simple identity control after producing digestarom.
